Morris is pleased to introduce a new 2-3 Meter Controlled Traffic Air Cart. Available 6500 Liter (180 bushel) capacities, this tow-behind air cart can be configured to 2 or 3 meter track widths.

Controlled traffic farming is the practice of repeatedly driving in the same wheel tracks with all of your equipment. This provides more efficient use of farmland and an overall fuel savings as it is easier to pull equipment on compacted soil. By staying off of the growing zone, there is no need to deep till to break up the compaction as is required with random traffic on your field. Controlled traffic farming is a common practice in countries such as Australia and South Africa where high daily temperatures, and no winter frost to help break up compaction, causes severe compaction problems to occur.

Narrow Transport Width

Overall transport width of the 2 meter cart can be under three meters.

Benefit: Narrow transport allow operators to travel on width restricted roads and highways.

Air Delivery System
A unique delivery design provides for a smooth, horizontal flow of material, eliminating abrupt directional changes and reducing seed damage. The patented flat fan divider head delivers product evenly to each secondary hose for uniform emergence.

Benefit: Very gentle seed distribution on pulse and oilseed crops. Very efficient system increases accuracy of seeding rates.

Benefit: Requires only one fan regardless of size of machine or which distribution single or double.

Monitors
Informative, easy to read monitoring system puts all critical data at your fingertips...fan speed, shaft rotations, bin levels, acres seeded and much more.

Benefit: All the seeding information you require and the security of alarms on critical components of the seeding system in the cab.

Walk-Through Design
Feel safe "walk-through" design with non-slip surface gives you access to the loading areas without bending or negotiating tank tops. Access to the platform is available from both sides of the tank (when auger is down).

Benefit: Walk-through tank design creates a firm standing platform with fill lids at waist level...no stooping or bending.

Metering Wheel
Unique, spiral fluted metering wheels gently roll product into the air stream in a constant flow. Matched with individual divider heads to ensure maximum accuracy and efficiency in seeding a full range of seed varieties from canola to beans and other pulse crops.

Benefit: Meter a full range of seed varieties from canola to chickpeas without changing metering wheels.

Benefit: Spiral flute provides a continuous flow of product for greater accuracy unlike the dumping effect of straight fluted metering wheels.

Variable Rate
As an alternative to mechanical drive metering, Morris' VRT option is quick and responsive. Simple to operate and dependable to meet your prescription farming needs.

Benefit: Savings can be realized on input costs or better returns on inputs by putting product where it is needed most – fertilizer rates can be varied on the go.
